SH Tiram is here for training and mentoring pepper farmers with the concept of Agroforestry topics to support climate-smart agriculture as well as transactions for buying and selling agricultural products in the form of white pepper at premium prices. The quite tough challenge when the oil palm cultivation boom did not reduce the existence of pepper, our task is to be able to increase the existence of pepper again among farmers and the community.
Tiram Village has quite good potential in the agricultural sector, because almost 75% of the population here depends on this sector for a living. It is not difficult to find farmers in this village, a high interest in learning is also one of the potentials of this area. Coupled with the potential of neighboring villages such as Bukit Terap Village and Tukak Village which still exist in agriculture, especially pepper commodities.
