The R1 farm review for Mr. Zahrul Fuadi indicates positive early progress. On April 28, 2025, 182 pepper seedlings from the group distribution were planted using a 3 x 2 meter spacing, ensuring proper airflow and light exposure.
On May 6, 2025, 16 live trellis trees were planted, consisting of 13 Juluk Antu and 3 Pucuk Idat trees. Prior to that, on May 4, 2025, Mr. Zahrul had begun constructing water channels (bandar) to manage excess rainfall.
On his 0.15-hectare plot, he also grows aromatic rhizomes, papaya, pineapple, and coconut, demonstrating an intercropping-based agroforestry model. He also plans to plant 700 patchouli clumps, adding value through crop diversification.
Despite the rainy season, watering is done routinely to maintain optimal soil moisture during early growth.
